Life is a mixture of pain intermingled with pleasurable moments one never likes end. Every dark cloud has a silver lining and dark moments give strength and opportunity to bring change. The roadblocks on my way and mythical humanitarian input from British and Americans contributed to my success. Grand Pa Bajoja Ceesay admonished 'One only fails upon accepting failure as last resort'. He said, “Sonny, the successful had trails of endless failures but learnt from them while refusing failure.” It is easier to declare challenges as white elephants than find how to overcome it. It is onus upon Africans to stand up and help their people and continent move into the twentieth century like other societies on earth. Tribal alliances and corruption buffered by heartless and politicians send us spiraling backwardness. Nationhood is by far larger than individual tribes and personal gains. My challenge is to bring medical aid to beleaguered villagers, especially children. I write to raise funds for building of Njawara village hospital.
