Wingless human angels exist and one we are about to visit epitomizes such a make and gift to man. This is a synopsis autobiography of late Alhaji Kebba A. M. Sanneh of Jarra Japineh, the Gambia. This book is a blessed memory of a friend, father, husband, Good Samaritan and a gift to community. Kebba Sanneh landed on the garden of Eden on 14 July 1940. He was born of farming parents Mr. Saihou Sutay Kuta Sanneh (father).and Mrs. Kaddy Ndow (mother). He Started his Primar School education at Japine later transferring to Bureng Primary School from 1947 through 1953. Kebba Sanneh then continued to Armitage Bording Secondary school in 1954 through 1959, located at George Town in the Maccarthy Island Division (MID). He was an exceptionally brilliant student that excelled and made lots of friends on campus and in George Town. He was unanimously selected head boy or Sefo in his last year at Armitage. From Armitage he worked at the Medical and Health Department as Public Health Inspector, where he moved rapidly to the post of senior public health superintendent. He had further technical education in public health from Banjul, the Gambia, London, UK, CDC, USA and later at other colleges. These accolades will be elaborated upon at appropriate sections of the autobiography. Kebba Sanneh was later recruited by the UN to work with the AMREF/ UNSAID Somalia project until his demise. Kebba Sanneh was one of those who help lift my feet when my wings could not remember how to fly away from hardship. He was a true friend indeed. And he was a true Good Samaritan to many needy folkse. Kebba Sanneh is a charitable heart with great courage and virtue. Uncontrollable tears still well down my cheeks on remembering my Armitage friend and icon. Here was a Kebba A. M. Sanneh, when come another? I pray his soul rest forever peacefully in Jannatul Firdaws. Amen! I write to raise funds for building of Manding Medical Centre’s hospital at Njawara village, The Gambia.
