This work brings to attention existence of a self-help village health organization, Manding Medical Centre, at Njawara village, NBD, The Gambia. Doctor’s Diary is journey of my life and sequel biographical update of the Legend against all odds covering from 1960 through 2013. It is a tale of many people coming together to bring dream Manding Medical Centre into fruition. It portrays riveting adventurous journey by a village boy determined to provide medical aid and service to villagers. Now sails through unbelievable trials and tribulation caused by callous inhuman laws. Dr. Ceesay steered his way through turbulent seas of inept immigration laws, solitude and poverty, and destitution for twelve years. The quest took him through to America, the Caribbean and the United Kingdom. Ceesay first trained as a Nurse at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Bathurst and after many years of hard work he finally earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and returned to the Gambia in 1993 to set the ball rolling in the fulfillment of his dream of providing medical aid and service to villagers.I write to raise funds for building Njawara village hospital.
